My peers, My mentors, My friends, My enemies, My family-

I am about to present you with a warning-a warning that must be heeded.
Everyday, perfection is sought after by millions. But what is perfection? An abstract idea, perhaps, that wants control. I am here to tell you not to fall for the lies, the traps, that society and the media have begun to set. I am here to tell you that you don't need to be the thinnest, prettiest, or smartest person. I am here to tell you that differences and flaws are needed in order for life to strive.
We often read of Utopia's. What is the common plot? They fail. The society falls because of a "rebel". Because humans are different, flawed, and not meant to be the same, not meant to be controlled.
Everyone must take their flaws, along with the flaws of others, and embrace them. Don't let go of who you are for a ridiculous ideal.

Everyone has their story. Don't assume you know someone because of how they dress, how they act, how they speak. Some come from a broken home. Some come from a demanding family. Some have suffered unimaginable losses. Some have never had anything to lose. Some are forced into silence. Some are over worked. Some have unhealthy relationships with food. Some have no relationships. Some deal with physical illnesses that eat their bodies away. Some deal with mental illnesses that consume what they once were.
Everyone's story is different. Nobody's reactions are the same. Share your memories, experiences, and new-self with somebody. Allow somebody to share their story, reactions, and new life with you. Share, listen, and spread understanding.
Before it is too late.

Words hurt, actions hurt, fists hurt. There are too many ways to bring harm to others- or to yourself. So the next time you see someone crying, ask them why. And listen. The next time you see somebody alone, go to them. And get to know them. The next time you feel like breaking, say something. And let someone help you. The next time you're in pain, let it be known. And let someone heal you.
Always listen. Always speak your mind.
Never pull back from an outstretched hand. We can help those around us. We can let others help us. Humans are weak alone; we need each other.
Do not be ignorant an longer. Outstretch your arms, use your eyes, lend your ears, and open your heart. Make a difference-for someone and for yourself.

Always remember: We are all unique, elegant creatures. We are all intelligent, resourceful organisms. We are all flawed, perfect humans. We cannot live alone, we cannot live brainwashed. We live different, we live together.

Every life matters. Even yours. Every single life is important, meaningful, and beautiful.
